I will be here selling original paintings, drawings, prints, jewelry and strange found objects items! Thomas will have his quirky Vintage past-port camera set up to take MUG SHOTS again this year. Bring Mom to get her Mug Shot photo taken!

Where: The Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing, which is along Columbus Blvd, between Walnut & Chestnut Streets, Philadelphia, PA

The Spring Art Star Craft Bazaar is an outdoor retail art/craft show that is organized & juried by Philadelphia’s Art Star Gallery & Boutique. Over 140 local & national artists have been chosen to set up shop & sell their wares at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing, right along the Delaware River. The event is being held on Mother’s Day weekend this year, so come to the show to pick up a perfect, one-of-a-kind gift for mom or better yet, bring your mom to the show for a fun day on the waterfront!

Shoppers can expect high quality handmade goods that reflect the unique & often quirky aesthetic of Art Star. Art Star has hand selected a diverse collection of artists that create anything & everything, including housewares, paper goods, dolls, prints, ceramics, clothing, accessories, paintings/drawings, sculpture, and many other one-of-a-kind curiosities. “PFMD” and a month of art making awaits!

I am taking this month before the start of the Spring Semester & teaching, to work on art each and everyday. As a result I am going to try and post a photo/blog post each morning showing what I did the day before. I call my efforts: “Positive Forced Motivational Discipline” (PFMD for short) time well spent and a great way to kick off 2012. Of course, this way I will feel the need (PRESSURE) to accomplish stuff each day and share it with you. Ha! Everyone needs projects like these!
